Overview
I created this poster to advertise a rock climbing event that is also a rock music festival. The event is being sponsored by Rock Gear, a rock climbing equipment and apparel company. The main objectives being to bring awareness and inform viewers of the date, time, location, and happenings of this event.

Process
Early concepts show part of my process. I played around with type hierarchy and layout for a while, eventually settling on a five-column grid. I wanted to utilize a gritty texture to imitate the roughness of the rocks themselves while taking inspiration for the bright color scheme from vintage rock t-shirts.
